Cast of characters
Note this is a spinoff of The Triumph of AJ Quartermaine. So while Characters may look the same they won't sound and act the same as on the show. The warehouse and garage fires never happened. The custody battle never happened-- well it sort of happened but I think mine was better so there. Lately my fanfics seem to be focusing on underused/misused characters... so here is what I would do with Emily.
Emily Bowen Quartermaine-- Buds with her sister-in-law, Carly Quartermaine. Godmother to Michael, student, model and new part of owner of Deception. Her parents make her save all her money and give her an allowance/spending money. Ned is in charge of her trust/income. Edward was pleasantly surprised when Em engineered the takeover on Deception and has started to try to involve her in business. He's also been having nightmares about the young bucks that have been hanging around his darling granddaughter lately. And Emily hasn't been discouraging them. Ever since Emily started hanging around Carly, she's changed. She is more demanding, confident and then there was that damn Harley she was roaring around town in. Em's had a not so secret crush in Nikolas Cassadine FOR-EVER but he has only started to notice her. She was caught making out with Nik by Johnny Cook; and he broke it up and laid a liplock on her that has her questioning her sanity.
Nikolas Cassadine-- Son of Stefan Cassadine and Laura Spencer. Had been knocking boots with Katherine Bell until Emily took over the company and threatened Kat with lawsuits. Nik got fired in the process. Independently wealthy, heavily involved in GH charities, lives in a little cottage on the edge of the woods. has been buds with Emily forever but only recently started to think of her as something other than his little sister. Now that he's figured out that she is what he wants he is ready to press ahead full speed ahead
Johnny Cook-- ex-bodyguard of Jason Morgan and Sonny Corinthos. Owns a restaurant. His mother was THE Cook for the Quartermaines until her marriage to JD Porter, Johnny's father. Cook and JD recently got married and are on their honeymoon. The marriage gives him two new siblings. Rita age 12 and Viki age 19. Johnny quit working for Jason after a fiasco where Emily lost her tail, and Johnny found Emily thisclose to doing the wild thing with NIk Cassadine he broke it up but in the process planted a kiss on Emily that scared the hell out of him.
Carly Quartermaine-- confidante and official egger-on of Emily. Happily married to AJ. Running the Deception spa. Has Edward Q by the short curlies. He is attempting to bribe his way out from her hit list with a horse. Carly and AJ live their own house that they co-own. And neither want to step foot in the mansion for longer than they absolutely have to. Carly is a trouble magnet. If she didn't start it then she was there when it all came down and gets hung up on the sidelines. Manages the income she receives from Michael's stock of ELQ with the advice of Jerry Jacks, her stepfather. Carly has physical custody of her son Michael and shares legal custody with AJ and Jason. Having finally learned to drive, Carly's car has custom plates-- BRN2SHOP.
AJ Quartermaine-- CEO of ELQ, and doing fine thank you very much. His first act as CEO was to pull ELQ's fat from the fire in Jakarta and he has been treated as a god by ELQ Asia since then. He is technology challenged and so surrounds himself by people that are competent in computers etc. Unlike the other Quartermaines, business does NOT come first with him. His wife Carly and his son Michael keep him very busy. Shares and improving relationship with his father and a deteriorating one with his mother. Edward doesn't quite know what to make of AJ, since AJ snatched the CEO without any assistance from EDWARD.
Jason Morgan-- Emily's brother and Michael's other father. Finally got the balls to admit that he love Carly but it was too late. Actually balls had nothing to do with it. He'd been working with a faulty definition of love and by the time he was clued in Carly was well on her way to marrying AJ. Jason gets Michael every weekend. He is involved in the coffee business, and the garage business, and has a piece of ELQ. Made sure that Moreno disappeared so that Sonny could take back his territory. Order has been restored to Port Charles. He goes to Church every Sunday with Emily and Michael.
Alan Quartermaine-- Emily's father. Likes working at the clinic; he gets to do the administrative work but also gets to work with patients more than he did as CEO of GH. Improving relationship with his son AJ. Has taken Carly under his wing. Thinks that she is nuttier than a fruitcake BUT she makes his son happy. He treats Carly like she is the best daughter in the world and she returns the favor by treating him like he is the best father in the world. Alan has been applying the 12 steps to his life and may seem excessively calm in dealing with things that are going on in Emily's life. But he doesn't realize yet how close his "baby" came to having sex the night of Cook's wedding to JD-- I don't think there are enough serenity prayers in the world for this one.
Monica Quartermaine-- Chief Medical Administrator for GH, Cardiac surgeon and mother of three. She is on speaking terms with all of them. Actually right now the most strained relationship she has is with AJ. But sorry-- she can't help it if her son has married a golddigging lunatic bitch and there is no reason for her to keep quiet about it. She has grown increasingly concerned about the friendship that has developed between Carly and Emily. There is no way that the viper from hell is going to get her claws into another one of her children.
Katherine-- former lover of Nikolas Cassadine. Lost her ELQ stock to AJ. Lost the deception spa to Carly. And while she has a lot of shares in Deception still, real power is being run by a coalition-- Ned, Jax and Emily. She is NOT a happy camper.
Viki Porter-- the judges oldest daughter, Johnny's half sister. Had set her cap for AJ but was blown out of the water by Carly. Now Nikolas Cassadine is starting to look really, really fine.
The rest of the characters are pretty much intact from the show. Lucky and Liz weren't in Triumph so we'll just assume that they are living happily ever after finishing each other's sentences.
