When Cassadines Fall Portion of the Trilogy.
Yeah, I ended QQ in abrupt fashion. I got to a good place and left it there. Yep, I left loose ends. I have a habit of doing that. What can I say... I live in the time of Star Wars (parts 1-6) Rocky (1-5?) Rambo... you get where I'm going. I'm a firm believer in Sequels. I didn't set out to write a trilogy. I never set out to write something longer than about twenty chapters but it always ends up different than what I planned. I'll be writing along minding my own business and wham a character will come up and grab the keyboard from me. IN AJ it was Emily. Now in QQ it was Maddy Reynolds. She grabbed hold of the story and wouldn't let go. But here is the rub-- I think it horribly inappropriate to give an original character the title role in a GH fanfic. (it's just me, i'm weird that way.) So this story is going to be about Nikolas Cassadine.
Cast of Characters-- The Characters will act in character but it is their character developed in the world of my fanfics-- Triumph of AJ Quartermaine and Quintessential Q. That means no hannah, chloe, roy, juan, zander etc...
Nikolas Cassadine Heir to the Cassadine fortune and title. Just remodeled himself a house in a interesting part of town. Runs the volunteer program at General Hospital. Recently had his heart broken by Emily Quartermaine. Will he shake it off? Or will he pine away the same way Stefan has for the past two decades?
Stefan Cassadine Uncle/father of Nikolas. Has been going through a cold spell romantically. Lately the highlight of his day is playing chess with one of Nikolas' little friends. Manages the Cassadine Trust until Nikolas comes of age.
Alexis Davis-Ashton Nikolas' Aunt. Newlywed to Ned Ashton. Works as a sole practicioner out of the L&B building.
Helena Cassadine Grandmother of the heir. Seeks power through Murder and Meyhem aka M&M and she just doesn't eat the green ones.
Lucky Spencer Brother of the Heir just came into a ton of money when he had better luck opening a safe than Geraldo did and it's all Nik's fault. Lucky and his girlfriend Elizabeth are living in the carriage house of the house that Nik just remodeled. He works at Jason Morgan's motorcycle shop and does some independant contracting computer work.
Laura Spencer The often absentee mother of the Heir. She has no clue what any of her kids are up to. Perception of her present behavior based on her past-- she is playing both Stefan Cassadine and Luke Spencer the father figures of her children.
Emily Bowen Quartermaine 17 year old business progeny, model and student. She's the brains behind Deception and is positioning herself to take over Helen of Troy, a beauty appliance company, (third behind Estee Lauder and Avon) She and her boyfriend Johnny Cook have just decided to make it public which was a blow to Nik Cassadine who was hoping that Emily would be his.
Maddy Reynolds 17 year old transplant from the Big Easy. She's been staying with Nikolas Cassadine rather than with her Aunt Dara Jensen. She's been running her own life and those of the people around her for years. How many you ask? Well about ten. She got fed up with feeling powerless when she was seven and started taking more and more control of her life. She and Stefan have much in common both dealing with childhood issues. Maddy's mother, Lisette, isn't the face of evil like Stefan's but she was emotionally unavailable most of the time due to her reliance on alcohol, drugs and the stiff rod of whatever man happened to be available. Maddy is best buds with Emily and is being tutored along with Em at the Quartermaine Mansion. Edward has a soft spot for her.
Pete "Poppi" Robideau The closest thing Maddy has to a father figure. He is The Mob Boss of the southeast. He recently visited Maddy in Port Charles and to check up on his little girl. Poppi may have a soft spot for little girls and small animals but he is a mobster. He handles things within his territory with an iron fist. Mess with him and you better have your last will and testiment in place. Organized crime is truly a family business with him. His late mother Rosalinda Luciano, aka Granny Rosa, had blood connections to both the Chicago and New york organizations. While her family would love to ignore him because of his color, Pete is too good at what he does. Maddy came to his attention after she started running errands for his mother. She's been under his protection for the most of the last decade.
Bobbie Spencer Jacks Head Surgical Nurse at General Hospital and owner of the brownstone. She was married to Stefan Cassadine for about ten minutes but loves his kid and considers Nikolas' to be one of hers. She is now married to Jerry Jacks. Jerry keeps busy parenting Bobbie's kids-- Lucas and Carly, mostly Carly.
And with Nik back on the market so to speak can the following be far behind?
Katherine Bell Former paramour of Nikolas Cassadine. Their prior relationship was spoiled by Emily Q. But with Emily being involved with Johnny Cook and Nik, heartbroken, isn't this the perfect time to rekindle old flames?
Viki Porter Social climbing daughter of Judge JD Porter. Half sister to Johnny. A student at PCU and volunteer at the hospital.
